The John F. Dillon & Co. Chartering Team

Robert Dillon: Robert graduated from Boston College in 1982. He worked in Tokyo for Yamamizu Shipping from 1983-1986, covering the Australian and Fareast markets for local Japanese owners and charterers. After his return from Japan, Robert focused on handy size time charter business and steel exports from North America. He presently is focusing on Panamax markets.

David L. Quigley: Dave holds a B.S. degree from the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy and an M.B.A. from SUNY Maritime. Upon graduating from Kings Point, Dave sailed on his license as a U.S. flag merchant officer for about four years prior to joining Cargill in New York. After spending several years on the chartering desk of Cargill Geneva, he joined John F. Dillon Co. as a broker in 1989. Dave's main focus is on the grain trade, with a primary focus on Latin America business.

Jack A. Herckis: Jack is a graduate of Georgia Tech with a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Management. He sailed as an officer in the US Navy and then joined Cargill and traded in the Freight and Sugar departments. After leaving Cargill, Jack joined JF Dillon and Co and has been involved in all facets of the company with a special emphasis in grain chartering as well as the industrial side within the aluminum industry.

Thomas O'Reilly: After spending several years at sea sailing on a U.S. flag bulk carrier, Tom came ashore to work for John F. Dillon in 1983. He is presently involved with the company’s aluminum and bauxite trades for the major aluminum companies.

Christopher Kenney: Chris joined John F. Dillon & Co. 1991 after graduating from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. Chris' career has included working in Switzerland and Hong Kong as a shipbroker. His primary concentration is on the Panamax markets. Chris is currently managing JFD's
Shangai office.

Brian Tulley: Brian graduated from the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy with a B.S. degree in Marine Transportation. His experience in the dry cargo sector includes working as a principal and broker for ship owners, operators, and charterers. He joined JF Dillon & Co. in 1985.

Brendan Dillon: Brendan graduated from Franklin Pierce College in 2003 with a Bachelor of Science degree in marketing and management. After spending a brief period of time at sea and as a ship agent in New Orleans, he returned to the company to cover the Caribbean and South American grain markets.

Ronald V. Cellucci: Ron joined the company in September of 2006, after graduating valedictorian of his class from the Massachusetts Maritime Academy. Ron focuses on both the Handy and Panamax markets.

Jonathan A. Smith: Jon graduated Massachusetts Maritime Academy in 2000. Upon graduation
Jon accepted a job with Robert Small as a research assistant. He then took a position as a Terminal Superintendent for P&O Ports until working as bunker broker before joining JFD & Co in 2007. Jon is
bi-lingual and is presently focusing on the South American Handy market.

Allen Zhong: A native of Shanghai, Allen has graduated from the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor with a masters degree. After working for a period as an equity trader in New York, Allen became a broker at JFD & Co in 2008. Currently based in the JFD Shangai office, Allen focuses on all markets from handy to panamax with a focus on Chinese principals.

Teo Tsagaris: Teo joined JFD & Co in 2010. He holds a B.S. degree from Sacred Heart University. Teo's family has been involved in the shipping business for several generations. He is currently working with the handysize grain desk.

Joseph D. Gross: Joe graduated from SUNY Maritime College in 1991, and spent six years out at sea as a deck officer aboard AT&T's U.S. Flag cable laying ships. He came ashore in 1996 holding a USCG Unlimited Masters License. From 1997 until 2010, Joe worked at Charles R. Weber Company, as a product tanker broker, fixing spot, period and COA's world-wide. Joe joined John F. Dillon in August, 2010, and focuses on a variety of areas, including energy markets.

The John F. Dillon & Co. Operations Team

Sheila Carstensen: Sheila joined JFD & Co. in 1997 and handles the company’s accounts and receivables. Sheila has been in the shipping industry since 1975.

Julie Conlon: Julie joined us in 2006 and assists with charter parties preparation and operations.

Kim Dwyer: Kim joined in 1991 and is in charge of charter party preparation.

Jennifer Primeau: Jen has her certificate in Marine Transportation from the shipping federal of Canada and Concordia University.Prior to joing JFD & Co. Jen worked for Fednav International, Canarctic and Canpotex as a vessel operator and laytime specialist. Jen presently handles laytime resolution, voyage settlement and speed/performance claims.
